There are some religious duties that each Muslim has to do; they are called “Af’al al-Mukallafin” (commands and prohibitions) in fiqh books and catechisms. They are divided into 8.

3. Sunnah,

4. Mustahab,

5. Mubah,

6. Haram,

7. Makruh,

8. Mufsid.
